Product Details
A harmonious balance of fruit and earth, the 2022 County
Line Pinot Noir opens with notes of raspberry compote, strawberry rhubarb pie,
wild sage and dried clove. Rounded tannins further accentuate the bright berry
flavors and warm spice nuances, creating an alluring density in this
refreshing, medium-bodied wine. Winemaker notes
Serve with a slight chill or at cellar temperature with an
herb-crusted pork loin or root vegetable tarte Tatin.
(92 W&S) Eric Sussman makes County Line wines at more
affordable price points than his Radio-Coteau wines. Using organically farmed
fruit, the wine is aged in neutral French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.
His 2021 has floral scents of spring honey, then it’s earthy rather than sweet.
Light in body, this makes a delicate impression even as the tannins have a
meaty richness. Enjoy its coastal drive with grilled game fish.
