( V 95) Opaque violet. Primary black and blue fruits, vanilla, mocha, incense and a hint of potpourri on the powerfully scented nose; a suave oak spice nuance emerges with air. Velvety and expansive on the palate, offering deeply concentrated blackberry, boysenberry, espresso and exotic spice flavors and a touch of candied violet. The youthfully tannic, appealingly sweet and strikingly long finish leaves behind spicecake and dark fruit preserve notes. Drinking window: 2026 - 2037
